Questions, answered.
The things people actually ask before trusting a wallet.
- What is Freedom Wallet?
- A lightweight, self-custodial wallet for Zano, Monero, and fUSD. Send, receive, swap, and run payroll privately, from a wallet that opens in seconds on desktop and mobile.
- How can Monero work without a blockchain download?
- Our nodes scan the chain; your keys stay on your device. The wallet fetches only what belongs to you, so a fresh install is spendable in seconds instead of hours. Nodes never see or control your funds.
- What is fUSD?
- A stable digital dollar on the Zano network. It holds a 1:1 dollar value with the privacy of a confidential asset, so amounts and balances stay hidden on-chain.
- Is it really self-custodial?
- Yes. Your seed phrase and private keys are generated and stored only on your device. We cannot freeze, move, or recover your funds. If you lose your seed, no one, including us, can restore it.
- Which coins are supported?
- Zano, Monero, and fUSD natively. BTC, ETH, BCH, USDT, and USDC can be swapped in or auto-converted into fUSD through built-in swaps. Zcash and Litecoin support is coming.
- When can I use it?
- Right now. Freedom Wallet is available on macOS, Windows, and Linux, and coming soon to mobile devices. Grab the download, no account or sign-up needed.
